"The simple, lightweight design of the wire winder from Vogeler Manufacturing was a huge upgrade from our tractor-mounted model. I was able to pull the posts and then wind the wire all in one trip with an ATV. The compact size of the wire spools allowed me to carry extra spools along with the drill and additional tools all in the front storage compartment of the ATV. With the wet spring and muddy field conditions, I was able to wind wire in conditions that wouldn’t have been possible with the tractor mounted unit. I think it will be extremely useful in building and moving temporary pasture cross-fences this summer."
